Robert Link, CIRP, LIT

Robert is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals with over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector across Canada, including commercial lending and special loans for a large international bank, and senior manager in the reorganization services group of a national accounting and consulting firm.

Robert joined Schonfeld Inc. Receivers + Trustees in 2003, and has overseen many complex and diverse insolvency and restructuring files. In 2014 Robert established Link & Associates Inc. to acquire the Schonfeld insolvency practice and continue the tradition of excellence in providing a wide range of corporate and commercial insolvency services.

Jason Colbert, CPA, CA

Jason is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 15 years of experience. He has worked in both the public and private sectors as well as operating his own financial advisory firm for 8 years.

Jason's industry experience includes manufacturing, telecommunications, distribution, and professional services. He is experienced in helping companies through financial distress, re-organization, implementation of internal controls, due diligence and acquisitions. Jason is fluent in both English and French.

James Merryweather, CPA, CGA

James is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 25 years of experience in corporate accounting, finance and insolvency. His corporate career included positions in accounting, finance and treasury in the petroleum marketing and refining, telecommunications, technology and electricity industries.

James has applied his accounting and finance knowledge to the insolvency and restructuring field since 2002. He has worked on a wide range of matters in manufacturing, transportation, entertainment, travel, wealth management, and commercial property development. He brings a high level of attention to detail and broad management skills to insolvency and restructuring files, including the operation of distressed companies during restructuring and preparing businesses for sale.
